Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress, who is also a TV hostess and comedian. Panganiban has been referred to as the queen of Drama in numerous media. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in the year 2012. At the time, she was four years old that time. The cause of her sickness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston had to place Angelica Hale on ECMO Life-Support when she urgently needed life-saving medical intervention. Her organs failed in multiple ways and kidneys that didn't recover. Her condition forced her to alter her daily routine around hemodialysis as well as peritoneal dialysate. After spending 80 consecutive days in hospital, she went from being close to death, and then a lengthy recovering path. Angelica was being on dialysis for the past year and a half until she finally was able to undergo the most important operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. The kidney that would be donated to her came from only her mom. Angelica and her mother had a successful kidney surgery on September 13, 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals situated across from one. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her goals of becoming a star ever since.
