MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him enter mainstream Latin music. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN the first of his long-players with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia was released in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album the following year. In 2021, he sang a duet. He sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, which included the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and older brother are professional musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is compulsory. In his childhood he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano and the ukulele. His initial choice of career was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under the help of a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he realized his talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
